It's been a bit since my last post, but with all the news of the late King of Pop I decided to post his most famous video Thriller. The video itself was funded out of Michael Jackson's pocket and directed by the great John Landis (Animal House, American Werewolf in London). This title song off of the ultra popular record that has sold over 50 million copies worldwide (Best selling record of All Time) and has been named the most successful music video of all time. At the time of its release in 1983 it was the most expensive music video ever made at a $500,000 budget. The great makeup effects were done by the legendary Rick Baker (American Werewolf in London, Planet of the Apes, Nutty Professor) and the video also features a voice over by horror great Vincent Price.
